Koina is an online shopping platform catering to women and girls, seeking a refreshed visual identity aligned with its growing audience and market presence. The goal was to design a logo that feels modern, memorable, and emotionally resonant while preserving the brand’s recognizability and appeal.

In the early sketching phase, we explored a range of ideas within the chosen direction to identify forms that would best represent Koina’s future brand image. These explorations laid the groundwork for a logo that balances clarity with character.

The ‘K’ logo draws inspiration from delicate flower petals and the transformation of a butterfly—symbolizing individuality, resilience, and modern femininity. Its graceful form brings a confident, contemporary spirit to Koina’s brand identity.

Typography – Balancing Modernity and Clarity

Koina’s typography pairs Montserrat for headings with Roboto for supporting text—creating a clean, modern feel with high readability. The combination reflects the brand’s youthful energy while ensuring clarity across all platforms.

Koina’s color palette blends Electric Pink and Palatinate Purple for a bold, expressive identity, while Pastel Orange adds warmth and approachability. Masstricht Blue grounds the palette, offering contrast and sophistication.
